"Our room was near the maintenence area, which could use a little sprucing up. Overall, though, this was a decent mid-priced hotel. Our family really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub since our beach plans were rained out."

Silver Surf Motel is located 3 miles south of the Hearst castle and three miles north of Cambria on the east side of scenic Highway 1, which faces the beautiful Pacific Ocean. This excellent location makes it the perfect stop between Los Angeles and San Francisco. We offer 72 guestrooms on garden acres with park like setting, some ocean views, private balconies and fireplaces. Also we have an indoor pool and spa, guest laundry, gift shop and free coffee or tea.
